I wanted to share with everyone my favorite tip for goal setting. When I was a pre teen my uncle took me to a goal setting seminar that positively changed how I looked at things and approached them. One gem that was huge for me to work on was putting together a vision board/ goal chart. It’s a very easy and simple thing to do. Whether your goal is something big or small. It can be achieved! I am sure we have all heard over and over again “With hard work and dedication your dreams can become reality.” Yes, this is absolutely true! Making a vision board/ goal chart is a fun way of getting focused and pin pointing things you would like to achieve. This is something that everyone at every age can do. It is always good to have something positive to look forward to.

There are a few different ways that you can go about creating a goal chart for yourself. You can go the traditional route and break out a piece of poster board and get to cutting out pictures. Remember the goals can range from small to big. Perhaps you have had your eye on a new product you have been dying to get your hands on. Find pictures of these things and put them on your board. Find positive affirmations to get you focused on feeling good about yourself.

If the poster board route is too big or not quite your style, it’s ok. There are other ways to get the same result. Add some pictures or post-its to a mirror you use often. Taping things to your computer screen is another great alternative for those who work on a computer all day. If you don’t want to crowd your computer use your cubicle wall, or a small bulletin board. The possibilities are endless. Get creative with it. The idea is to put these images where they will be often seen. You will be able to focus on what you really want and start coming up with ways to get closer and closer to the goal until you end up achieving it. There is nothing better than seeing all of the things you have crossed off.

Visualization is a powerful mind exercise. People have been using this technique in order to achieve their goals for decades. By visualizing you are emitting into the universe a powerful force of attraction. The positive law of attraction comes to those who truly believe, feel and practice the good thoughts that are put out into the universe. I assume many know the phrase “You can do anything you put your mind to.” It wouldn’t exist if it were not true.

The sky is the limit to what you can achieve. Never sell yourself short! Everyone has the potential to do great things. Be driven, be successful and be a go-getter. You deserve great things. Take the time to focus and map out your goals. Pretty soon you will be enjoying the success you dreamed of. Apply this task to yourselves as well as share it with those you know and love. Everyone deserves the chance to achieve what he or she dreams.

Happy Goal Planning!!!!
